Order the CD: Spoon

The CD is out! It got terrific reviews in Sing Out!, Dirty Linen, Washington City Paper, San Francisco's The Slant, Chicago's Windy City Times, and Time Out New York. Also The Fairy Boat Gazette, The Mudpuppy Herald, Toadstool Inquirer, and The Genie Bottle Messenger (the only periodical read by housebound genies everywhere).

Spoon has reached the tippy top of the Mermaid Charts, as reported in NepTunes. Back in the human world, Spoon reached #10 on the OutVoice.com music charts, and is being played on too many radio stations to count. Spoon was featured on This Way Out's AudioFile segment, reaching over 120 stations who carry this syndicated gay radio program. A song from Spoon was included on the latest Oasis Acoustic Sampler, Volume 31. This 4-disc compilation is currently in every folk radio station in the US. You can call your local folk-playing radio station and request "Photograph of Jane" from Disc 3 (track 7) and then hear it on the air! Once I get a chance to mail copies of Spoon to all of those stations, you can call and request any song from Spoon to be played on the air. Check back here to get the green light on that one. It may take me a while to mail that many CD's. Heck, why wait? Create the demand and get those DJ's wondering "Who the H - E - double hockey stick is Amy Fix?"
